If I agree to a date, time and place I always feel committed.

When do you.

If I have met before I feel more flexible but always 100% if a first meet

Second star to the right…

Best way to be, if i have made room in my busy schedule for a meet and have a time and date only a family emergency would change it.

If you have met before perhaps a little more flexibility can be done.

A good attitude to have OP

When I've agreed (except if emergencies happen*)

* In the many years I've been here I've no-showed on zero meets because of emergencies. I've cancelled one meet with discussion/ consent because of an emergency. I've had one no show because of an emergency (someone I was already friends with, I believed him and we rescheduled)

When it’s agreed.

If I can, I do.

I don’t get a lot of free time so I’m not gonna mess someone else about.

The moment a date is set then I am committed.

Pending any undesired behaviours or previously undisclosed info that doesn’t match what I’m looking for that may come up between setting a date and it actually happening.

Life has got in the way a few times but rarely.

Absolutely this. I'll always turn up unless I get a feeling that something isn't right

I’m always committed, I don’t like to let people down.

That of course if I was meeting.

If a time and date is set, I'm commited. I am quite flexible with my time.

If get vague times ,"ill be out in town on saturday night, we can meet for a drink" or "I'll let you know" I already know its not going anywhere. I don't even put faith in "I'll be at the club on x date if youre there" messages either. Often is someone fishing so they have attention or youre a back up plan.

If someone really wants wants to meet me,they will.

When a time and place has been arranged. I wouldn't agree to it if I wasn't committed to a meet.

If you have agreed to meet, and no extenuating circumstances, then you should honour that.

I'm genuinely struggling to grasp the question. If I've agreed to the time, the place, the date and the intent...then I've committed.

Some people are flaky and don't respect other people's time.

Ah, I see. In that case when I've commenced the act of intromission then she can assume I'm commited. ✅

When I say "yes let's meet" it's not something that's open for negotiation and also doesn't depend who it is.

I don't feel committed or obliged to meet someone although i'm very reliable and mean what I say and make great efforts to keep to my word but i'm not in any way bound fast by a simple agreement to meet a stranger

If I make arrangements to meet then I do stick by them but if I simply didn't feel like 'going out' or 'meeting' then I wouldn't. Of course I'd let the person know that i'd backed out.

I don't let people down but who goes to a meet if they don't want to ?

Also .. if the goalposts were changed after arrangements were made it's perfectly in order to decline.

It's not paid employment

Yep. I’d accept that as mine and their commitment, befor that it might not happen, and after that, someone has got to cancel if plans change.

If I say I am going to turn up then I will turn up - I am committed at that point. If I haven’t agreed then I haven’t agreed.
