Now I shall head to bed and put a podcast on and that should help me fall asleep.

I can go though sleepless hours

But I recent found an excersise from reading about acupressure,

By placing the thumb on each nail and holding firm for 10/15 sec then to the next - little finger last then to the next hand … it can and has helped

Finally squeezing the skin to an acupressure point between the thumb and the first finger 10/15 sec ( you will know when you hit the spot ! )

It relaxed the body and sleep becomes more likely- it’s starting to work for me !

My sleep pattern has sucked for years, largely due to a combination of an odd work/life balance and a tendency not to be able to switch off when I do finally drag myself to bed.

I usually don't manage more than 4-5 hours a night. But if I'm on a non work day I'll often sneak in a mid afternoon power nap.

Or I'll just nod off on the sofa unplanned and wake up without a clue what time it is.

Frustrating. But I'm used to it now. 🤷‍♂️

I don't get anxiety that's not for me if I do decide I don't need sleep which is all the time only thing I've noticed is after 4 days your senses become extremely heightened you hear hearing and sight especially.. day 5 you start to see shadows and hitting day 7 you feel them pushing past you and their presence becomes more aggressive

That would be the obvious assumption but I would say no it's not .. you operate on different vibrations on this earth low and high meditation increases higher vibration.. there's many dimensions and they are accessible through different levels of vibration like the 5 levels of chakras.. perhaps you see things you wouldn't normally see once altering your state of consciousness

I find a person needs less sleep as they age but it all depends on what they've done during the day , there's an ol' saying, here in Ireland ☘️ anyway, " you'll sleep tonight " mostly said to those who have done physical work or activities that day , a person has to listen to their body , sometimes l hit the sack , get a great night's sleep, other times l'm awake early but the most important thing is sleep when you have to sleep, sometimes you have no choice the body itself will just shut down simply because it needs sleep, it's the greatest ever , your body , it can tell you when you're tired , hungry, unwell or horny & it doesn't ever need a clock , it's truly amazing.
