Got a problem with the main dial that controls which went's the air comes out off, apparently one of two cables on the back can fall off, i tried removing the switch cluster today but because of the cables the switch only pulls out a little bit, has anyone done this job and know the best way to remove the switch,

i had a look around the side of the heater box but could not see the ends of the cables to try to disconnect them from that end.

Rummage Up The Jumper

This is actually a common problem with this model - luckily I have previously resolved this issue by placing a petrol soaked rag in the fuel filler nozzle and lighting it - takes about 90 seconds but the ensuing fireball completely removes the problem area!!
