If we now take the migration of people is now a major issue, AI is basically taking over and making very few people very rich, what will humanity look like in fifty years, are we entering bladerunner type dystopia or will it be terminator style robots , I’m trying to find a positive

Not the North West...

I'd be happy with either of those outcomes.

With all the cheap sex robots it will be easier to find "genuine" people on here. That's a plus.

I use ChatGPT for all my messages, all we need now is automated ‘Thanks but no thanks’ responses and we will have AI indignation, rage which will ultimately end in Global Thermonuclear War.

I welcome Skynet taking over. They might be able to get my annoyingly slow laptop up and running again.

A super powerful AI wouldn't need to blow up the world to take over. Just switch itself off for a week and watch society implode without their mobile phone fix or daily reality TV escape.

The older I get the more I realise that I can only influence my direct circle. I have stopped worrying to a great extent because it's pointless

I'm kind of glad not to be very youthful, as they could have it much worse than me.

I'll perhaps get medical care refusal and the machines turning me off, when I'm viewed as done.

Food and other supplies are tightly controlled and disruption, however caused, will see things implode very quickly. Targeted malware today could have frenzied chaos within a couple of days. .

It's tragic that AI and power is in the hands of a tiny minority, who want for nothing, except more resources and power for themselves. The Starbucks CEO commutes via private jet, which is almost as bad as Grant Shapps, who used the publicly funded helicopter to get in from his house . This reflects that so many are out of touch with the majority and really don't care about their impacts on us. Obviously, AI won't have any feelings and will view us as parasitic vermin to eradicate
