Why would or should he change it?

Surely there’s many people who have a variation of a first or last name or even the same nickname

How would another’s users name link to your surname which you don’t display?

Is there such a thing as an original and unique surname? 🤔

I mean....unless you've changed it by deed poll to being the same as your car licence plate as its cheaper than buying a private plate from the DVLA of course. 🤷‍♂️

I'm guessing the surname isn't 'massivewangclungepounder69'. 🤔

I suspect it's entirely coincidental. Especially if it's actually Smith or Jones.

If your surname is Farquhar-Smythson then, I fear, your consternation is duly warranted. Also, I am enamoured that you're now referring to him as a "gentleman". He was "someone" earlier and now he's been promoted. ♥️

Is your surname not already in the public domain, through your Council Tax, utility bills, driving licence, employment and tax records?

I suggest that you write to the Govt and ask them not to be using your surname.

Have you thought about copywriting it in order to protect it (and then sue him for breach of copyright).

Btw, out of interest, what is your surname? If you tell me I promise not to use it (well, no, I might add 69 on the end of it)

Assuming that is a coincidence, I’d say that’s tough luck.
