Have you ever looked in a mirror and thought I look okay, I’m not talking the fun fair style mirrors, but then taken a photo or seen a photo of you and thought “wow I need to sort myself out”

I know I have.

So what’s the secret to taking a good photo?

I do both regularly.

I check out my handsomeness and think “fuck, you’re a good looking bastard!”

Then I see the rest of me and think “fuck, you fat bastard, stop eating pies!”

I literally have two images of myself. Sometimes I look hot and I'm happy about my looks. One of my jobs is at a dark club and I tend to look fairly decent there. My other day job has a huge glass front and I feel so fat and ugly as I walk up and see my image reflected. The cameras on the bus make me look awful but sometimes my reflection in the bus window is alright.

If you was to walk past me in the street right now, you wouldn't recognise me, you wouldn't walk past and go "I think that was ladyboner". I look like two different people.

I have certain angles that I look better on and I tend to post them, like I hate my nose and my smile, so I try and take photos that I don't look at them and go "fuck no!"

All the time. I'm now at the point in my life where I think, sod it I am what I am. Sometimes the pics look good, other times less so, but I work on the basis that my clothes fit and I'm not entering Mr Universe so here I am as me, lumps, bumps and all.

Just experiment with photos, angles, shades and you'll find something you're happy with.

The body I’m rather ok with, I understand it changes with age and it’s more of the appreciation for it than anything. I don’t however like my face and I wish I could crop it out like I do on here

I'm at at stage where I look in the mirror clothed and unclothed and think I'm rather handsome / attractive.

I think this has carried over well to recent pictures I've taken 😁
