Obviously any non brand name chocolate digestive is king

But generally speaking it’s hard to beat a bourbon imo

Fruit shortie being a close second

"Obviously any non brand name chocolate digestive is king

So choc digestive is king, and beats the hard to beat bourbon which is at least third as fruit shortie is a close second, beating the hard to beat bourbon which is bested by the digestive.

Did I get that right? Did I?

That’s where you’re wrong.

You’ve got custard all over your face!

The custard cream is the king of non brand biscuits

Custard creams are good but too fatty, can’t eat more than a couple without feeling sick

M&S is too bouji, we’re talking purely proletariat biscuits over here (their butterscotch cookies are banging)

M&S is only Bouji if you buy their preped food. Their shelf food is cheaper than Morrisons and it's not full of kids ramming you with mini trolleys.

Their chocky digestives are game changers.

Boxes of broken biscuits are cheap, and you usually get branded biscuits in them too!

Give them to kids/family and people visiting and save the decent ones for yourself! 🤣🤣

35p for a packet of custard creams is an absolute steal and by far the best value item in shops these days

I love shortbread. I just think a custard cream wins on a price per biscuit basis. 😂

Custard creams are hateful. Overly sweet. Pretending to have any relationship with crème de anglais. It’s a travesty. A mockery and I want no part of it.

I’m out.

Anyone liking these foul things is on my block list

Tonypandy.

Dark chocolate digestives or shortbread from Aldi or Lidl are my winners.

I've been practicing new flavours for my shortbread, and just made a lemon and rosemary one which has gone down a treat with my neighbour, as did the lavender one. She is also partial to the earl grey and lemon biscuits I make. Next up is strawberry and clotted cream shortbread.
