Apart from the fact that we can't see your profile we don't go on holiday with anyone but each other or possibly our kids. I won't go on weekends away with my woman friends either. Neither of us are very good at being in other people's company for extended periods of time

It seems like the OP is not playing the game.

My gran needs to know how they are going to choose their holiday partners from the respondents? Will the destination be a surprise? How long will the holiday be? Is the ticket a one way ticket? Is it hand luggage only? What time of year will we be going?

Far too many factors on which the OP is silent, meaning it is very hard to make an educated decision.
