Next Door

As there are a few threads going around about dating/socials.

I thought I would ask this question.

So you've arranged a meet, the time/date has been set and you know where.

Describe the feelings you get leading up to this meet? And when do they start?

Do you get fluttered deciding what to wear?

Always nervous, but nerves are good.

Excited about the possibility of where it could lead

Worried they won’t like me

Very very scared I may spill or dribble some food or drink down my top

If it's local I feel relaxed and excited.

If I'm traveling I'll be stressed about finding my way there.

I feel relief once I'm face to face with the person I'm meeting.

I don't give it much thought at all until the actual day, for various reasons.

I wouldn't say it's excitement, more the dread before seeing them knowing they'll get that look of disappointment in their eyes. It's fun.

Delightful Bliss

Emotional feelings of attachment and excitement to see him again, knowing what the evening has Instore for us.

Like a favourite well read book, that you enjoy over and over again

My last new person date was 18 months ago and was all delicious butterflies of excitement for potential

Oh gosh. It depends on who they are. If it's a social or a date date.

I'm quite an excitable person generally and even a coffee would have me actively looking forward to it. Closer to it I'll have a few butterflies. Feel happy when I think about it. Clothes wise I don't really think too much too about it.

A date date though? Even if I've had a few dates with them before, already am getting to know them, I get a lot of butterflies. Little heart racing moments when I read a message from them. On the day I have slight nerves, not in a bad way just... they exist. It's all the anticipation and potential deliciously entwined.

I get excited thinking about what I'm going to wear. How they might respond to it. Thinking about them removing those items of clothing.

I love the feelings I have before a date.

As meeting anyone new for a social or date or whatever. I’d say excitement with some nerves/butterflies this can even last past the first meet as well but it’s all good vibes.

Dates I get the anticipation, the build up and excitement knowing that it’s finally arrived.

What I’m going to wear, what I have planned all becoming a beautiful reality.

What they will be wearing, how I’ll feel when I see them all exciting me even more.

Then the unknown of how the date will flow…,I love this

Not the day of, the night before or when in person but the days before and the drive there, your heart does get a bit giddy. As far as deciding what to wear, I'd usually find the nearest thing that made me look half presentable, I've no date wardrobe.

Back in the day when I would meet for a social, I'd usually get a feeling that it wasn't feeling right, my gut was telling me it wasn't right but I'd still go and turns out, I was right. Apart from one particular "date/social" and I married him lol

Ladies, do you get fanny flutters or throbbing?

Gents, do you get a twitches/throbbing cock?

Yes I do and I’d hope that the Fanny flutters was real for her too

I typically am excited before all meets and especially first ones have an abundance of nervousness mixed in, as there's uncertainty too. I know my clothes, so dress according to my tastes.

I've somehow managed to get two years into this journey without a single 'private' social. Which means I find the thought somewhat terrifying now.

Meeting in a club - The excitement starts before a time and date is set. The anticipation, the discovery of someone else's boundaries, hopes and desires. I'm a huge lingerie fan so the outfit is planned with care. Which bits will stay on. Which will come off.

Meeting in a hotel - this has happened a handful of times. For people I really like as a person as well as sexually. So it's like the club but with added bells and whistles. The build up is almost as much fun as the reality. Smiles, flutters and downright dirty thoughts. That said often outfit choices go a little sideways - sitting in a car with no aircon for three hours meant that the plans were scrapped for denim cut offs and a vest top 😂

I feel a sense of nervous anticipation.

Most of .y meets are parties or clubs as a single guy and I still have that feeling of nerves.

I would probably feel the same if it was a one on one meet but as j do meet socially I'm public first It's like that first date with someone you like anticipation and nervous energy and hoping you make a good impression.

If its someone I've been messaging a while I might get butterflies. Usually though I don't really get excited as it's not always as good as I imagine. But it's always great when that chemistry is there and the kiss is electric.

I'm male,so what to wear is simple (mens clothes are borning), clean, smart and casual.

Feelings are always nervous, but there's an excitment there, the feeling that "anything could happen" - even if it's only a social (maybe more so if it's a social). However well we've gotten on beforehand there is always "will they like me?" vs "best foot forward"

Always the excited hope of what might be - excitment of whats been discussed so far and what's yet to be explored.
