Clearly dates are on people’s minds.

So go out there, and ask some random person on your travels on a date or someone in your phone contacts.

You can do this. If you get rejected say it was a joke anyway.

Dating is not everyones first choice.Had plenty of "dates" 2 marriages plus numerous relationships but still end up single and on fab sites.
