My countryman and Idol since a child was the late Richard Burton. Donald Sutherland, who recently passed, was another. What are the readers views on this quote of Donalds in Esquire 2011 ?

"I don't think I've ever had a sexual involvement without love. I've never had a one-night stand. Though I was fascinated by Richard Burton saying that living with Elizabeth Taylor was like having a one-night stand every night."

I think Donald Sutherland lived the life he chose. Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor were the epitomy of a love/hate relationship.
