Chelmsford

Dead dolphins have washed up on the Greenwich and Battersea beaches. Authorities recommend that dolphins do not swim so far up the river. The collective name for dolphins is a pod. A pod of dolphins because like peas in a pod they all look very similar.

St Leonards

They probably got a bit lost and confused Tom. I don't think they do these things on porpoise.

Have the authorities actually told the dolphins or are they hoping they will find out some other way,

What are they doing the washing up for? If dolphins were that clever they’d use the dishwasher.
