Amount of Time Wasters

We have been on FAB for a while with limited success, there seam to be a lot of time wasters on here! is it us are other couples having this?

There are many many time wasters here sadly. It's very frustrating.

Lots of us experience it, whether single or couple, male or female.

Just block and move on.

This and every other site of this type. There are always people who are horny, decide to meet up and once the horn goes off, they don't follow it through - so it isn't just this site.

I don't recall ever having our time wasted. We've chatted with people who decide they don't want to talk any more and we've met people socially who don't want to meet us again but I don't think it's a waste of time

In the last 2 months, I've had 5 people not show / not confirm for meets.

2 didn't log into fab for days after agreeing a meet, and didn't respond to my request for confirmation.

2 confirmed but did not show up.

1 claimed to be held up in traffic, never arrived and then blocked me.

Each and every one of the 5 had previously moaned about the fact that nobody responded to messages, and no-one would meet.

Are you saying that because you've had limited success that others are timewasters? Because the two things aren't linked.

Some people have a lot of what I guess you'd call 'success' without ever stumbling across a 'timewaster', because they're careful who they interact with and don't rush into things.

Some people don't have much luck because they assume everyone is there for the same reason as them, that because it's a swinging/sex site that everyone wants to meet all the time, that just because someone meets someone's loose preference parameters that they'll be compatible and want to meet, and that everything that someone says in a profile and/or a message is 100% truthful.

People change their minds. Not everyone that starts a chat with you will want to continue it or eventually meet.

That doesn't make them a timewaster.

Personally, individually, I have never invested time or emotional energy into meeting someone for the first time for them to let me down last minute.

I don't have a lot of expectation from fab. I moved over to only meeting in clubs so if someone doesn't show up there's still plenty of viable company and opportunity regardless.

When the ex was in charge of the couples profile his vetting system sucked and it happened occasionally. But whenever I have actually expected someone, they showed up. And if they didn't, it was with timely notice and a reasonable enough excuse for cancelling, and was followed by them arranging the next time and following through.

Even verifications don't mean a thing, or at least take them with a pinch of salt

Get used to it. This site and many others like this are rife with time wasters and fantasy thinkers.

Accept it and don't get hung up on it, use the site for connections and enjoyment, if you do get a meet specifically from here, bonus.

Some are easy to spot as clear just a fantasy. Hubs wanting wife with big tits fucked. Learnt that early on when turn up and wife “ unwell” and can fuck her next time. Mind you I was convinced one of my meets was fake. Nearly did not go. Got there and was so wrong when saw all when answered door

For me a time waster is someone who squanders my time I could have spent on something else because they don’t turn up. I think I’ve only encountered that once.

Now, people who, after two or three weeks of regular chatting and trying to get diaries and geography to work, suddenly disappear? Yes, plenty of those - but that’s energy more than time and I was happy to give that energy at the time.

Apparently there aren't any timewasters on Fab! Personally we go to club's where real players go. Many say "we'll come and say hello in the club", but they don't (some don't even turn up). We always have a good night anyway, no time was wasted as reading profiles and messaging requires no time

This is my way of thinking also. I prefer to meet in person and go to clubs.
