there are loads of castles which most ten yr old lads will enjoy..

as said by others there are plenty of different attractions..

took our 2 when of a similar age down a mine, was very informative etc..

The Gower peninsular is beautiful particularly oxswich bay St David's is not far

Porth Cawl thesurf there is amazing also Margam park little drive but there is like an outdoor activity park and also a deer park there...lots of castles and such.

Oak wood theme park is about 50 miles from Swansea also folly farm is on the way. In Swansea got plantasia and cinemas hope this helps

Take him hill climbing / walking midweek to the Macynlleth Loop area.

Take some butties and drinks and sit on the hillside and watch the RAF/ USAFE do their low flying training first hand.

If you do venture near oakwood or folly farm there is another place near there also have a visit to Tenby town
