At the age of 62 I've just had my first wasp sting. I didn't realise how much thise little b@stards hurt! Hope it's another 62 years till I get another one.

I received my first wasp sting at the age of 6/7. Back of the knee in the school playground.

I got another hit on the neck in my twenties, and a bee sting to the thumb in my 30s.

The bee sting was much more painful and then my thumb went numb.

I got to 40 before I had my first one as I was trying to get the little b@stard away from my daughter. It didn't hurt as much as I thought it would but still have a phobia about the little buggers.

PS, I haven't hardly seen any so far this year.

Yes, I concur, bees sting worse than wasps. I’ve had 3 or 4 wasp stings. They’re not nearly as bad as a bee sting. Plus, a bee sting leaves a barb and a sack of poison. If you try to remove it in the wrong direction, you make it worse.

I got stung by a dead one once. Died in the loft, arse in the air. put my hand on it on the way up to find the light switch.

Even dead, they're evil little stabby ass cunts!

Stung by a baby bee didn't feel much just like a needle and a little bump but past. Think it knew I'm one with nature and providing the food and didn't want it cut off

Reading

I've been setting by both wasps and bees numerous times. It's horrible. But mosquito bites are more annoying.
