"Isn't that anti Zionist? " That's the thing though isnt it? Im not sure it's anti anything. It may well cause offence to none / some / all, but labelling people as anti something or an "ist" or "ism" just because it causes someone offence is quite toxic to social interaction and sadly we see it way too much. If they chose to be offended(and seems they did), they left which is good. What isn't good is now cancelling the artist because... Whatever reason.

"OK. Read it now and still feel the same as my previous post. It's also perfectly possible to be anti Israel in terms of government policy and actions, without being antisemitic against people. The same way its possible to be anti many things. I was very anti the last government. Still love the country I live in and (most of) the people. 🤷♂️" Agreed but unfortunately the labels for "ists" and "isms" are thrown around by people too often to close down any lone who they disagree with. Rather than engage in an intelligent interaction.

" I don't think it's anti anything either but obviously some people do. However if offence is to be taken at least know what you're offended about before someone's long career gets ruined.

"So this joke he also told (allegedly) is okay then? “Witnesses have claimed Hunter then told a joke about the Jewish Chronicle website putting a review of one of his previous shows behind a paywall, saying: “Typical f------ Jews, they won’t tell you anything unless you subscribe.” That’s the problem isn’t it? If we are allowed to make jokes based on stereotypes (be they religious, gender, race etc), then everyone is “fair game” I sure as shit don’t know what the answer is, but if there are to be rules, surely they should be applied equally? Either causing offence matters or it doesn’t. " So 2 people out of an audience of? 500 maybe? Took offence and walked out. Then venues cancelled him because...? when you think of how we’re developing as a society - we amplify the voices of the few, who try to sanitise the world of anything they find even mildly offensive and being more and more sensitive as they perceive they have the moral high ground …always. To disagree is to be a bigot, homophobe, racist, sexist, …… an insensitive cunt basically. a joke is always at the expense of someone. Go and watch Opera. As for the joke above. I'm not seeing what's to be offended by but that's the beauty of the world we live in. It isn't yet uniformly beige and monotone. There's plenty for people to choose enjoy or choose to be offended by.
