If you are talking about buying stuff from storage lockers by auction?....then yes, my brother does it and makes a pretty penny out of it.

It is a part time hobby and he earns enough from it for a couple of decent foreign holidays every year.

Dainton's hold auctions every Three months....the other one closer to Bovey is I believe owned and run by a Gypsy family.

That's the one!

Hubby paid it monthly when he died I forgot and 2 months passed and I went up there and it had all been sold. Luckily it was just old furniture and tools etc

My Brother has a self-storage facility & he gets the odd one every year out of 50 lock-ups. He says that when it happen he opens the storage unit & puts as much on e-bay as possible & then throws the rest.
