"How many profiles can a person make on here. I get that monitoring the site is a massive task but is there no way that ip address's or more stringent sign ups could be monitored at all. I personally have had issues with somebody making a new profile quite soon after deleting a profile just to stalk check up harass or intimidate. The sign up fee is no deterrent either. " I wish i knew, I hope someone can give an answer to you, some people suck ass, and not in the good way either. ![]()

" The problem with IP filtering is you may have one or more people on the same internet connection... I'm thinking shared housing/HMOs, couples with individual profiles in the same WiFi network (their main IP address would be the same)

" Despite what the TV would have you believe, IP addresses are not a fixed thing that identifies each device on the Internet. On your phone for example, you could get a new IP every time your connection hops from one antenna to another. You'd get another if you connected to WiFi... and every WiFi router would present a different IP. Even your router could have a new IP every time you connect, especially if you turn the power off when not in use... AND every device connected to your router would present the same IP to the world.
