A few for me but I will opt for

‘Somewhere in my heart’ by Aztec Camera.

I was 16 and working in a clothing warehouse for my school summer holidays and it played a lot.

Happy days !

Cheshire

Broken Land - The Adventures

Fast Car - Tracey Chapman

Picked two because both remind me of 1988 when I worked at Butlins Minehead. After work going to the pub with a bunch of people I’d only met weeks previously but felt I knew them for a lot longer. Scousers, Geordies, Stokies, Mancs and me a Boy from Bolton, just getting on laughing and taking the piss.

Aswad and Shine - I bought the single on tape solely because of the line “the crowd are roaring, Ian Wright scoring”. Was a keen arsenal fan in my youth, more a rugby fan these days.
