Which comes first? I am forever getting into trouble with my sexy sexy Louise for looking at the profile pictures and winking or messaging before reading the profile text!!!

Surely attraction comes first? So acting on the pics alone is a perfectly ok thing to do?

What's the verdict on this and is it really different from man to woman on this subject?

I look for a face pic first, then a body pic, then read the profile, then veris. In that order.

I was beginning to think I'm the only one who reads the profiles! The pictures are nice, but most are artistic (very nicely posed though) and teasing. Rarely can enough be _iewed in a thumbnail to draw much attention to physical detail; but the personality comes thru loud & clear

Oh yes it does. An inadequate profile, one that lacks imagination and bores me would mean I would not consider meeting the person.

I always read profile first to check what the people are look for, age etc and if we fit or they fit our prefences then I might wink or msg them. I usually look at their pics after reading profile.

I (S) always read the profiles first, but I'm sure that D would go straight for the pics.

Unfortunately, as we still haven't been able to get any pics done to put on our profile, at the moment, the text is the only thing anyone gets to see unless they message us for face pics (which we keep private).

Message to selves .. We've really got to get our fingers, tongues, etc out and get some pics done ... lol

Phil winks and fabs based on pics only. I check (and fab) pics, read profile and only then would wink or message if we seem compatible. This seems to work for us. Annie

I look at the pics and then ill skim through the profile. If its caps or ranty I don't bother. I often wink or message sometimes when I haven't read it properly and my OH will say 'you know they're smokers don't you' and ill of course be oblivious to it. I hardly ever read veris so rely on my OH.

This!

I'll still perve the pics too - and fab if I like them regardless of any intention to contact/meet - but messaging without a thorough read will normally only end in disaster.

When browsing for potential meets:

Tend to have a quick peek at the photos and if I like what I see, read the profile and check the age range, location etc.

Then go back and look at the photos again.

If all good add to hotlist so Mr B can have a look.

I often read profiles of those who post in the forums and not look at the photos, just because I am nosey and like to see what they say about themselves.
