"I can see pitfalls." Like what? Say a person or couple want to explore a twin or city etc .. A fellow lifestyle person or couple has spare rooms and happy to let them stay while in area. No ££ no expectations. Just people being nice ... I know I know ....Being nice to folk these days is rare

"It depends on what you're expecting, as little comes without restrictions, efforts or cost. Consider that most swingers want to get to know others before involved meets and many prefer not to host single men in their homes for no strings meets of any duration. You'd be wanting the opposite, where many like to be entertained in hotels, potentially sharing the cost. Many people enjoy wild or regular camping, which can be cheaper than hotels. I'd avoid glamping, to restrict outlay. Obviously if you're in a new area, you run the risk of being another guy who's visiting and wanting sex. If you're not a club member, you could possibly look at clubs with lower financial outlay. But there's going to be tradeoffs between who'll potentially be available, where you'll engage and what your outlay will be. If you have skills in demand, you might perhaps be able to trade them for subsidised board. There was someone who had a slurry farm, so anyone who might graft in the countryside may be able to make a killing. . There's usually no such thing as a free lunch though. So, be sure of what you're getting into first." Nope. Just people being nice. Not everyone wants money or sex or anything. Meeting folk from other areas I'm all for.

"Give it a go or at least see what type of response you get. Sadly, the number of timewasters and dreamers on this site is huge, some can't commit to a basic social meet. Feel you may become victim of every timewaster on here, as no money is exchanged you will have all sorts saying they are on their way, want the address, never show and god knows what could happen once the address is out there. We've done a few house parties in our time, the drop out rate is staggering, the mail exchange is off the charts, the no shows will contact you later asking to meet on a 121. We even had one guy show up very late, after the party ended and somehow thought he was entitled to sex when everyone had left. Be very careful letting someone into your home or other peoples homes, lots of very, very strange people out there but some very nice ones too, and there's the rub. Good luck If you decide to proceed."

"Why would you be able to stay somewhere for free? " Why not? What's wrong with people doing that. Nothing at all.

It's just an idea to be nice and let others in lifestyle stop over a night or two.

"Before people bang on and on about Paying for sex.... expecting sex... etc etc. I've stated at start no costs and definitely no expectation for owt else. Can't people accept some folk are nice and like helping others ..." The notion is fine. The reality of allowing total strangers I've never physically met through my front door? Nope. There's a fundamental difference between accommodating those you know and have met before, whether there's any sex or not, and allowing literally anyone to spend time in your home. To me anyway........

"The thought behind it is nice but sadly not everyone is nice. I wouldn't as a couple stay in a randoms house and expect something for nothing (maybe I'm just cynical) and then you would have the safety aspect with single women. Unless you could guarantee everyone was upfront honest and wasn't going to turn weird at some point I doubt if it would work.. " I've been using spare rooms for years for work yes ya pay for room but not stupid hotel rates If people don't like idea that's fine ... Doesn't bother me.

" Collect all the objections you can , design it around solving them and be very clear about what you are disrupting. My apps been 18 months in dev and I’ve solved similar problems to above. Every problem can be solved and there’s always many ways to solve it. There are no new ideas, only disruption of existing ones. Make your concepts, scripts and elevator pitches, plan your exits even and you will need around £100k of your own or the banks to make an MVP to secure 1st round funding without giving it all away If all you have is an idea and no appetitive for hard work, financing and risk taking then unfortunately it will stay in the huge pile of thousands of existing ‘good ideas’ , ideas are easy, they pop into your head for free

"But there's going to be tradeoffs between who'll potentially be available," I think this is probably one of the most interesting problems to solve, the huge disparity between supply and demand in these kinds of niche peer to peer applications. Sites like Airbnb booking.com have such economies of scale that the natural laws of capitalism smooth everything out nicely. but it’s not the same on fab is it & people frequently become unhappy. If I was designing this app I’d start there because how you solve that will pretty much determine everything else
