Anyone else love one?

I like to keep the old beard in good shape and always ask the barber for a proper shave around it but it got me thinking, is this one of the ultimate levels of trust? A person with an incredibly sharp blade against your throat while you lie there with your eyes shut enjoying the moment could suddenly go horribly wrong

Luckily after many shaves I’m still here to ponder these things…

I watched a gentleman many times last week being shaved with a blade, hot towel, face massage, some incredibly long skincare routine and wondered how he’s entrust this person to his skin with such a sharp object in his hands.

Luckily, the one time he did suffer a cut it was not with a blade.

I equated the entire process to entrusting in a hairdresser when I ask for a trim and spend the entire time worried they’ve cut off more hair than I wished them to. 😥

I did get a squeaky bum when a cut throat flashed past my eye as he was doing my cheek.. Swear I saw a few seconds of my life in that moment. Good shave though
