After seeing Justin Timberlake last night he might be my best concert we been to.

Anyone seeing him on his tour is in for an amazing show.

Queen, at St James Park Newcastle in the 80,s....started at the front of the stage but ended up on the half way line..Will never forget the bass beat on hammer to fall, caused a sound wave that blew everyone's hair back & reverberated through the ground. Best concert ever.

But the best experience I had was last night of the proms. I never understood the power of classical music until I heard it live

St Albans/ Welsh Borders

Simple Minds Llangollen.

A smaller venue and we were as close to the stage as you could get, just incredible, the people we were standing by were lovely, had a great time singing and dancing with them

Probably Dropkick Murphys at Rock City in Nottingham about 6 years ago. Crowd was mental that night.

Honourable mentions for Madness at De Montfort Hall in Leicester around 15 years ago, and Foo Fighters/Buffy Clyro/Jimmy Eat World at Milton Keynes Bowl in 2011

I've been to a couple of big Kenny Chesney concerts at huge NFL stadiums which are up there, but special for me was the very last Tom Petty concert at Hyde Park, just a few weeks before he sadly passed away.

Burt Bacharach at the Summer Pops festival in Liverpool. Seen U2, Thin Lizzy, Motörhead and a variety of legendary groups or singers including Roger Waters (Pros and Cons of hitchhiking) and Stevie Wonder.

However Bacharach had me in tears that night, especially the encore of ‘raindrops keep falling on my head’ a whole crowd singing along. Stevie Wonder singing ‘superstition’ came close though

Black Sabbath at Download Festival in 2012. Always wanted to see Ozzy Osborne in some capacity and was taken back at how good he still sounded.

That's interesting to hear about classical music. I've never seen it live.... Note to self.

Good question though op and everytime I think of it something else comes up probably depending on my mood and what's left of my brain cells. It's rare that I'd pick a large venue especially Wembley but the great british music festival... The jam, generation and the pirates all for 2 quid was great. Maybe nine below zero at The marquee more recently miles kane at the institute in Birmingham was back to the good old days of energy...

Seen some great acts over the years, including Madonna in 87 for £16 at Wembley!!!, Fleetwood Mac in 88, Phil Collins in 94 and 97, plus Stevie Nicks, Madonna again, Lord of the Dance, and more recently Simple Minds, Noel Gallagher, and The Eagles at Manchester who were fantastic.

But I think the best concert had got to be Live Aid in 85. What an incredible event it was.

Live Aid must have been amazing. Watched it on tv and got the dvd.

The best was Pink Floyd at Earls Court, London in 1984 tied inseparably with my dad taking me to see Stevie Ray Vaughn at Manchester in Apollo in 1988 which literally changed 14 year old me's life instantly
