I’ve realised it’s becoming a full time job trying to keep anyone from hearing them. Anyone else struggle with this cos I’ve got so much I want to say to so many people it’s stressing me the fuck out 😂😂😂

They can be a problem OP if you bottle them up. I find it best for me to write them down in a journal. Then they don’t stay in my brain making me feel anxious.

Journaling can definitely help. Hope you can find a break from them 🌈

I’d put good money on undiagnosed depression.

Try disassociating yourself from the intrusive thoughts. Rather than treat them as cohesive thoughts, acknowledge their existence without examination and let them pass.

And maybe have a chat with your GP if those thoughts are generally negative.

If the mind is the only part of you trying to process the world around you and your experience of it..it can be exhausting.

Try dancing, running, swimming.. Nature. Something which allows your system to access another way of regulating. Meditate if you feel like trying it.. Or get creative.

Also a few therapy sessions will help you to understand what's going on and get some tips.

I get intrusive thoughts when I'm overwhelmed and heading towards burnout. It's a signal that I need to slow things right down and start taking better care of myself. Journalling can help to create some space between me and the thoughts, provide some clarity, but it's pretty ineffective on its own if they're very bad. I see a therapist if I'm really floundering.
