People do really confuse me on this site sometimes.

Yesterday someone was looking to meet. We have spoken before so I messaged to see if they were busy and wanted to arrange something. Then I start being left on read and next thing a veri pops up from a webcam meet they had just done.

Yes I got binned off for a video wank

Someone else messaged me. Chatted for a bit, asked for some pictures and added me as a friend. Said they wanted to get to know me better.

This morning I'm blocked

I know it's a rant and I apologise but I really just don't understand it sometimes no matter what angle I try and see it from.

It really does just seem like very few people are on here for the genuine reason, and I think that is so thing you need to accept if you want to take this site seriously

But reading what you have said you were speaking to someone and then messaged ti see if they wanted to meet. They didn’t respond but had a cam veri

There are times where sometimes the chat or messages can go on too long and people then doubt there’s ever an intention to meet and all the other person wants is chat.

I think and feel that both sides have to be honest and upfront about whether they want to meet, just want chat, maybe just fun or have lost interest

OP - with respect, I would look at the way you are verifying people are actually who they say they are.

It sounds to me as if you have actually been chatting to guys who were pretending they were female - basically you have just been wank bait for them.

To be fair a lot of people do say they aren't looking to meet which is fair.

But then don't say you are and then go quiet when someone actually offers it you, that's just weird

And yeah I think someone did just want a wank bank but they have been on here a long time and verified so would have liked to think they were genuine

A lot of variables can change from saying you want to meet to organising a meet to doing the meet.

These can be frustrating trying to align the moon and stars

I totally get where you’re coming from and can relate to that too.

I blocked someone who I had a meet with. More a social with a little fumble and a kiss. We left agreeing we would meet a week later for some bedroom fun. All seemed good and the chat continued except a few days later a cam veri appeared on her profile. Now I’m not one to worry about things like that or even people seeing others on here. What rang alarm bells to me was that when I asked whether she found it fun she denied any cam sessions and tried to tell me the cam was this site verifying she was a woman…. I don’t like deceit so after a few more messages and messages that just seemed wrong I said my goodbyes and blocked her.

There’s a lot of people on here who have no intention to meet

There’s a lot who want to meet a few people

There’s a lot who just want one fwb

But there’s a lot who tell lies. And those for me are the worst kind.

Not really I'd just assume they were bored and got the entertainment they were looking for, went off me for some reason or something in our interaction put them off.

To be fair there's quite a few we've chatted to recently seem to get off over the idea of meeting/swinging but actually don't have the gonads to actually go through with it.

Or, their profile says they're looking for X or into Y and when you speak it's suddenly "no we don't do that".... hmmm. But you advertise you do!?!

It’s more frustrating for me. If you’ve been chatting they should have the decency to message to say they’ve changed their mind or even just they don’t want to chat any more. But not everyone understands that.

Manners cost nothing.

I’m afraid you just need to get used to it, accept it happens and move on.

There's lots of profiles I've engaged with over the years where the profiles look interesting and the photos good.

Chat commences.

Then something puts me off. Either something said or inferred.

So I move on.

Sometimes I also block if I feel it necessary because if I'd given a full explanation as to why, I can guarantee it would have either resulted in abuse or a block from their end.

These are encounters with strangers on the Internet. The more you have, the more often it will happen. Sometimes it's them and sometimes it's you.

It's really not worth stressing about. There are plenty of people to contact, plenty that if you're actually a good match, they'll look to meet and a constant turnover of profiles.

Every day is a new day.

Irritating if you let strangers on the internet be that important to you. But not confusing at all. You can only go on what others do not what they think.
