Booking a holiday abroad short or long stays at very short notice or well in advance who's the best deals or best for value for money ?

Saddly not that many deals these days as used to be. Most charge two or three times as much as they used to charge only a couple of years ago and with diminished service too.

Everything is obscenely expensive right now as MB says.

It depends what you like. City breaks might -just might- be a little bit cheaper than beach holidays.

I managed to get plane tickets to Spain for about £100 return with the good ol’ orange airline 🍊 but hotels are crazy expensive. I don’t really do all inclusuve but normal ones are around £350 a night right now.

Jet2.com is renowned for its good deals- maybe worth a look?

We find holidays abroad very reasonable. For example 10 nights self catering in Fuerteventura in November £700 per person including flights, accommodation and transfer with TUI. 8 nights bed & breakfast in Gran Canaria in March £625 per person including flights, accommodation and transfer with Jet2. Thanks to the Internet you can shop around.

I go with whoever cheaper if your solo , tui normally have 100 /150 discount if u spend over 800, jet 2 have solo 30 I also book my flights then accomadation and that can work out cheaper to , im also a bargain hunter

What kind of thing you looking for? I feel agent's have had their day, have not used one in years, depending on what kind of holiday you want there's different angles of approach to getting a good deal

We find booking flights, apartments, car etc ourselves is best.

Obviously, with kids grown up we don't have to do the peak season thing, but never have.

It takes a bit of time and effort but find it's worth it

Of course you can find some. But if you want similar to what I used to like to book there us no way you will get them to anything close to that. I am a bit fussy though

We check them all and go with whoever is cheapest, includes luggage in the price and let's you book extra space seats.

We did Cuba, all inclusive, private transfers for £2,800 for a week.

We also spent £4,500 for a week in Tenerife for us and the kids 5 of them in total, which we thought was quite a bargain.

Both were planned a year in advance so plenty of time to pay it all in

I've never been on an all-inclusive holiday, or even booked a package holiday. I like the freedom to hop between different regions and cities within a country, so I've always booked flights separately - fly into one airport and out of another. And I use the same travel site to book accommodation, thereby accumulating discounts and upgrades the more you use it. And, as a solo traveller, it really isn't as expensive as people assume.
