Okay so I'm home alone and it's so quiet in here I could hear a pin drop on the carpet.

All of a sudden I very audibly hear my dad whispering to himself the way he used to when he was in horrid-spiteful mode (pretty much all the time). I know the exact tone of his angry little whispers perfectly. You never needed to hear what he was saying to know if it was hateful.

He died 3 years ago. He was a union protester/newsagent in Liverpool "back in the day" and was an avid distruster of all politicians up at parliament.

So what do you think? Am I loony tunes or has the old grump come back to watch the news about Thatcher? Maybe he's additionally pissed that I replaced his old armchair in front of the telly!lol

Nah.....what you heard was a couple of scallies whispering in your kitchen about whether to steal your microwave or your cornflakes while you were in the living room watching the TV about Thatcher.

Lol nah, I'm in the back room with the telly off. Scallies avoid me widely.
