Found myself dusting off some old Cd's and even tapes from 80's and 90's.

Brings back memories of some good times.

Anyone else found themselves doing this ?

Amazing what music can do.

50’s 60’s and 70’s is what I listen too most of the time, I’m sure there is massive following and appreciation for the modern stuff but it doesn’t do it for me.

Yes, I DJ quite often and find that the older tunes always go down a treat… so I spend a lot of time digging for, and listening to, stuff that pre-2000s.

I know we can’t actually time travel, but music can really transport us back in time. It’s very strongly attached to memory, which I’ve researched and written about.

Clearing out my loft and I found a load of old mix tapes - some I made myself and some I'd been given. Don't have anything to play them on anymore but have been recreating as playlists and it's been very satisfying!

Rock and pop music ended for me in the early 90s. I can listen to very little from the mid 90s onwards. Luke
