How much do you value other people’s time that they spend with you? Does it depend on the person? 🤔

Titz Towers, North Notts

I think spending your time with someone is the greatest gift you can give.

And I fully intend to remember this line for when I get caught out by someone's birthday

I greatly value any time that the people I adore choose to spend with me.

If we only have time for the sex now and again because life is hectic, I love that time. If we have enough opportunity that we can go do food and films and just chill together too, I love that time 💜

That is the best of times for me. But sometimes life means we only have time to satisfy the libido and need. I've been missing the quality time of late for sure, but things will calm and ill get back to it soon enough 💜

It very much depends on the person . An e.g. is, when our children were in primary school a woman I only ones a little asked if she could come round after we'd dropped the children off. Of course I agreed...She was still there when it was time for us to pick them up . She stayed for coffee, lunch and an afternoon cup of tea. I did not value her time

I hope so ❤️

I sometimes don’t get quality time with people and I tend to just melt into a puddle of tears

I would say I highly value it. I'm aware that they have many other people in their life that they could be spending time with. I also expect my time to be valued.

I highly appreciate other people's time, because generally, they have a choice about devoting their time to me and could easily sack me off for something better.

I believe in giving as much time as I can to my children and enabling them to experience as much of the world as possible.

Incredibly.

The one thing I do not have is infinite amount of time.

I use to be kind and shared it with everyone.

Then I looked at myself and was unhappy with the return on my generosity.

So I became a ruthless person who speaks with in a matter of fact way and easily walks away from people at the first sign of bad behaviour.

I couldn't careless if they have model looks my time is valuable to me above everyone.

Since I adopted this approach I have got on in business, increased my circle of people who think like I do because they see a driven personality who gets results.

This has bought me a comfort zone financially.

This may sound mean, nasty type of living. You maybe right but I don't suffer fools or look for relationship because I stand on my own two feet.

And that means. I rule

Lots. My time and responsibilities and how I'm pulled in different directions is like many, emense. I know others are the same, so if they chose to do it with me, be it a weekend away, a walk, a coffee in a cafe or a snuggle on the sofa with a cup of tea I love any. I want to spend that time with the person and feel so pleased and so absolutely content that they want to spend that time with me too.

It's situational yes. I think choice plays a part in that. If someone chooses me. To share their time with me in that way. I think being quite busy as I'm getting older has made me value it more - there's a certain level of respect shown, an openness that makes me want to reciprocate it and then some.

It doesn't have to be spent in extravagant ways either - cooking with another and learning why they love a particular dish, a good coffee... a walk. In person means more than messaging which I do enjoy, just to a differing amount.

What I would say is the quality of time to me is a big thing. You maybe sitting next to someone and sharing the same air space as them, however if they are constantly on the phone talking or messaging others, I don't feel special or chosen I just feel like a circumstantial substitute.

I am happy when people chose to spend time with me, but when those choices come at the cost of something else, I would feel shitty about it.

I guess it's not as easy as it first comes across. Yes I'm happy to spend time with another, but I want that time to be quality time - however we spend it. When the attention is consciously on each other throughout the time even if we are both watching the TV etc, it's companionable. Finally if the time is not at the sake of others ie special events of parents, siblings, children etc. Again it's not up to me people can make shitty decisions, but I wouldn't want to be party to it.

I very much enjoy spending time (like spending my energy or my money) on and with people who are worth it and who show reciprocal value of it.

I also think "quality" time can look very different at different times. We often think of it as being busy doing "active" things or something cultural or being out and about, but bye jove! Sitting all on the sofa, with our daughter sandwiched in the middle, guessing which episode of Bluey the others have chosen and watching episodes, is blissful.

Something like watching the football can be quality time. It just depends who with, where and the context.

Time is so valuable and that people should choose to spend their time with me is so amazing.

It should never be trivialised

I value it very much. Not just the time spent with me but also time spent *for* me even if I'm not with them. People thinking of me and spending their time to make my life special/easier - that's amazing! 😍

I always think quality time is the most precious. Kids, grandkids grow up so fast that you need to spend time with them to see them grow and flourish. Work/life balance too - get it right and make the time for those closest whether family, friends or lover. Tommorrow is never a given, live for each day! Carpe diem

I’ll say it doesn’t depend on the person because I value my own time so much, and I value all people so whenever I have a visitor or visit someone they have 100% attention.

Now if I’m having a social or even time with certain family and just not feeling it or getting negativity I have no issues cutting it short and going. I think that’s more respectful and dragging it out
