Great debate on radio 2 about mumsnet and how it's become an very angry and unpleasant site

are they just miserable because they have so much housework and other such tedious things to do.

Siren used that site for a while but she found it to be quite unpleasant too. It was mainly all the 'earth mums' dictating to other mums-to-be about how breast is best blah blah blah but the real nastiness came out if someone dared to disagree with them.

She uses a different site now, which she finds far more friendlier, BabyCentre I think it's called.

The playground is bad enough with all the 'super mums' let alone seeking them all online. One word for then 'Smug'.

Other mums slating people for going back to work or not breast feeding ! It was set up as a help/tip forum to help mums . Now they are saying some people are posting derogatory comments about other mums if they don't agree with what they say . Not one of the better debates on radio 2 ! Can't wait for the thatcher one tomorrow
