Am thinking of booking a holiday abroad for 3 nights but it says it's adults only what are they like?

Personally I enjoy them.

All it means are that no kids are there, now I used to holiday with my kids all the time, but now they are adults, I prefer a more peaceful and kid free environment

Some may well be and I’d suggest looking on sites like trip advisor but the ones I used were definitely not. More like just couples on romantic breaks or couples or singles who had no kids so don’t want to holiday where they are

couple, us we him her.

Depends on where you go.

If you are expecting a 24hr shag fest then you're going to be disappointed,if you want a hotel free from screaming kids and crying babies then yeah that's what you get.

If you goto an adults only in Ayia Napa then you're probably going to suffer people being very loud and partying till the early hours.

If you go to a quiet location chances are it'll be couples wanting a nice quiet holiday.

We're the same, it's now nice to sit by the pool and not have noisey kids around (and the holidays are cheaper when all the kids are at school!).

The Town by The Cross

Your modes of transport and your accommodation will consist of adult only.

It doesn't mean you will mix with other people. It means there won't be any children on your transport or in your accommodation.

You will see kids on the street or in shops or other bars and cafes. No one is allowed to imprison them for the duration of your stay.

Adult does not = all the women fuck anyone and all the men swear and make vile remarks.

It's a holiday where people who don't want to accommodate other peoples children don't have to.

There is the rub that not all adults are nice people. God forbid any of them are loud, objectionable , hard drinking , foul mouthed ,violent cunts.... or just wankers who insist on talking while you are reading your book or telling you there life story.

Just stay at home n lock the doors.

We always book adults only hotels now. Often they're quieter and a bit further out from main resorts so if you like a lively spot you might be disappointed.

They're not adult in the sense that everyone is running around swapping partners

Well not the ones we go to.

The place we're going next time we go does have a nude sunbathing area though but I suspect that will be very sedate

Absolute Fucking Bliss!!!

No squawking brats running round the pool screaming and splashing, don't really get much music blaring out (occasionally get a few sessions of some sort of aquarobics type stuff at some places, they don't last long). Hotels are usually much nicer quality, staff usually happier and more attentive- generally its quieter and much more refined.

Its rare i go on anything now that isn't adult only or with some degree of adult exclusive areas- costs more but its so worth a week or two without someone elses demon spawn running round feral.

It's Lanzarote. It's not a naturist hotel but there is a section set aside for nude sunbathing.

Think I’ve been to that one- bottom corner of the island?

Not too far from the naturist beach if it is, you’ll need a car and ignore the hire companies saying they’ll charge you if you drive down the dirt road to it- load of bollocks! 😁

We do adult only resorts when it's just us going.

No kids, no screaming and generally we go all inclusive so drinks by the pool is always good

We'll probably just use the section of the hotel reserved for it.

It's amusing (to us anyway) how giggly and school playground people who don't use it get. They refer to the 'nudie' area and make daft jokes, all the while wearing a pair of Speedos or a swimming costume that leaves nothing to the imagination

The Outer Rim

I worked at various adult only hotels around europe a number of years back, where we would stay with full use of the facilities while the contracted work was running. they were bliss .... especially the five star all inclusives.

I don't know why but that always makes me laugh. The idea of the carefully coiffed matrons and their husbands with their shirts tightly tucked in to their shirts randomly shagging all over the place just amuses me

Hang around the breakfast buffet looking suggestively at the continental selection

Do it. We've just come back from one and was dubious about going, never again will we go in a family hotel, absolute heaven and no screaming kids.
