I used to have an Abu Cardinal 54, it was a beautiful reel and a red Ambassador 6000 for beach fishing.

Currently using a very old Mitchell 301a and it’s still as smooth as anything.

Anyway I’ll stop carping on about reels, this is also the plaice for fishy puns.

Daiwa big bait runners on my carp rods. I'm still awaiting a BR version of the Basia (it's the only way I'd upgrade).
