Height difference and dating

Hi all, I was thought I'd mention some thoughts running through my head and see if others can give there thoughts.

I have been asked by a lovely lady on a date. She is 5ft 9 and I am 5ft 8, so she is an inch taller than me. She has said she isn't sure how she feels about that, but she has said she really likes me though.

It does bother me a bit, but I think it's more because I am nervous and probably over thinking stuff. For me I am worried that she may see me as less manly and not able to look out for her when needed. And I guess I am a little worried what others may thing.

Any other you guys date smaller guys/taller ladies.

I think this is just pre-date nerves ha!

I wouldn't worry about it - if she likes you she likes you as you are - I'm taller than Steve with my heels on and it's never been a problem! Crack on! Z

Another question as well as the original, is we were chatting having a laugh and firing questions at each other. The question came where I was asking ok are you a lady who kisses on first date? She responded with she is shy and old fashioned and likes the guy to lead. his left me confused a bit, I get that when the time arises I make the move then, but does this mean yes she would on a first date or not :/

I haven't been on a date in about 7 yr so kinda rusty!

... agreed, if it feels natural not forced then do it, go with the flow.

If she does mention sex or kissing on a first date tell her you're Not that kind of guy and want to be respected in the morning.

I'm 5'6..and Ive met 6ft women..if I was in any way concerned about my size in any department I probably wouldnt chance my arm as much.

but Hey each to their own, some women like tall men just as a preference

but it never means that someone taller will give better sex than someone shorter as some would lead u to believe

the difference of 1inch ffs...now that IS just ludicrous in my opinion
