In our glorious summer of sport... One of the best events has nearly finished before the opening ceremony.

That aside.. What events are you looking forward to.? Keeley? Andy? Max? Helen?

It's coming home...

I quite like the track and field events, unlikely to see any of them live as I work late shifts most evenings and not the same on catch up!

I heard the surfing is going to be off reunion... How's that for sustainable games!

That was tough. The sevens is a great watch. Thought the French got away with a lot of helpful reffing too.

I'll watch as much as I can but especially keen on the athletics, swimming, gymnastics, equestrian events. Paras wise, again, I'll watch as much as possible.

Mr KC will, once again, be a sports-widower. He was during the Euros

I like it all. Can get drawn into pretty much any event, but particularly love the swimming, athletics and track cycling.

(Btw, would recommend "Sprint" on Netflix to any athletics fans!)

I watched the Linford thing last night. Jeez, the stuff showing the awful treatment he received was horrible to see 😭

Farnborough Hampshire

Won't have time to watch it.

Be interesting to see how many swimmers fail drug tests this time. Chinese swimmers failed loads last time

Yes, I'm halfway through the Linford doc... really good so far.

BRIDPORT

Can’t really summon up the enthusiasm for them, would only be listening on the wireless anyway as don’t do the tele thing but just can’t be arsed this time.

Blackpool

Absolutely agree

Typical of the way British press treat their sports stars though

Put them on a pedestal and then throw them in the gutter

And with no help from the overpaid officials at the governing bodies

Was so pleased when he was coaching in Sydney and the athletes ran to him
