She has written a "cookery book" with ingredients costing over 200 quid a day for childrens meals.

Now we don't have children, and we would consider ourselves very fortunate and definitely financially comfortable. However, when we eat out, it's not very often (maybe 2/3 times a year) that we'd spend over 200 quid, so we sure as shit wouldn't be spending 200 quid to cook a meal at home!

What are peoples thoughts on this? Even if you were as wealthy as Ms Paltrow, would you ever spend 200 quid a day on feeding your kids?

What the hell kind of ingredients are they to cost that much for just one meal?!

Even michelin star meals dont cost that much.

Would like to have a look at it but thats just silly money.

I don't have a full list, but there was a 14 quid TIN of tuna. I can buy fresh tuna for less... Much less.

Some michelin star chefs charge more than £100 per head to be fair. Even still, it's extortionate!
