I'd like to say Oak as I'm English, love the shape of the leaves and find acrorns fascinating. Not a tree as such but im also a like a rambling Virginia creeper in its autumn glory. Colourful and parasiticly clinging on.

One of those gnarled up old hawthorns in a coastal hedge. Can survive any storm, ends up just a little bit twisted, but still has pretty blossoms.
