village between York and Hull

Typical, drone footage already on line with a load of rubbish being written and ridiculous comments.

Why can’t they just let people enjoy their lives!!!!

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest

Would it not be considered illegal to have drones flying over the area the event is taking place due to privacy issues?

This would only apply if they owned the land would it not ?

Which I'm assuming they don't and are renting it for the event

I have just read the reviews from the daily mail, and it’s pathetic so they can hear moaning and screaming when it’s all the the way in the field. It’s a bunch of prudes that say it’s running their rural living for four days of the year.

Some have said it’s not what they want to be hearing at night while laying in bed. I bet they’re laying in bed thinking I wish I was there

If they’re quick enough, they can get a ticket for next year and come and see for themselves.

Well done Matt and all the rest that have organised this event can’t wait for tomorrow.

Exactly this. The media and tabloids love to decry dirty, depraved and disgusting events like this. Grrr!

But really I think nearly everyone reading it is curious and secretly wondering if they are missing out.

I expect it was a professional one,it the pilots are highly trained & insured up to the hilt.mind you I think they have to get permission from the land owner.but the public can't object.i think you can request to have your face blurred if shown & they have to comply

As for the drones just get paintball guns and shoot them out of air. I dont think it would take many hits before the camera or flight mechanisms would be compromised. You could then also argue that the sounds were because you were all playing naked paintball.

Riots, people dying in boat's, people struggling to live dependent on food banks, war in Ukraine and Gaza the list goes on yet the media is more concerned about a group of consenting adults getting together and having fun.

Meanwhile this website will get a bump in new accounts from the same people who were saying down with this sort of thing (careful now).

The CAA state that It’s illegal to fly directly over any crowd or gathering (regardless of drone weight). Operators must keep their drones at least 50m away (horizontally) - 50m isn’t far enough sadly

"In the sun online again today had a "reporter" go along"

Yep, they invited the journalist to join them on the Swingathon On Tour in Gran Canaria, showed them the bars and clubs in Cita.

We'll be sticking to Nilo on out next visit, don't want to deal with the idiots that The Sun trashy journalism will attract.
