Coach driver rant

couple, us we him her.

I know this is going to upset some of the more sensitive members, but just seen the footage of the driver losing it with a bunch of kid's on his coach.

Good on him I say.

Ok maybe threatening to punch them in the mouth a tad OTT, but it's about time people actually started standing up to children they are pretty much getting away with whatever they like, I absolutely guarantee that the teachers where just sitting there doing jack shit because they are not allowed to tell them off.

Meanwhile kids smoking swearing walking around no seatbelts on.

So I guess he just decided that it's about time and adult took charge.

Clearly they where out of control and teachers not in charge so I can see why he decided to go ape.

If him rant was OTT or not it seemed to work but as is typical today it was filmed and they didn't like being told what to do and he's been sacked.

So the message is kid's carry on do what you want grownups are not allowed to say anything.

I think perhaps he went a teeny weeny bit over the top

But was needed.

It's all over the news folks

I've just found it and watched it.

I'm glad he stood up and did something. He let himself down with threats of violence.

Where were the school staff ?

That only results in a bloody ear - which can easily be covered by a tampon

It would have been easier to just get off the coach, shut the door and refuse to drive them anywhere.

Get the school and police to sort them out rather than loose your job.

Standing up for himself is good to a certain degree but he clearly has the wrong temperament and attitude to be driving kids about.

Lost his temper far too easily and threatening kids , not a good look.

Too many kids think they are Rambos now. Giving it all that knowing 99% of adults won't do anything or say anything to them. Police give them a little talking to and off they go.

I like watching them when they come up against that 1% Lol.

As he is the driver and responsible for the vehicle and passengers safety, he should stop the coach and only drive on if people are prepared to follow the rules. He doesn’t need to rant and shout at anybody.

South

The Summer hols have got off to a good start here in South Wales. Cars and camper vans set alight, allegedly by kids.

Last year’s summer hols a work colleague got stabbed in the stomach by a young teenage lass with a screwdriver after he caught her and her mates defacing a car. He intervened and tried to do a citizens arrest and got stabbed. Thankfully no serious injury.

But yeah….kids eh!

Little blighters!

Haven't seen it but can empathise with him as I drive coaches too, only a small part of the story has been highlighted he will have had to tolerate a lot more from the beginning of the day.

Not agreeing with his actions but often see the same thing with teachers and kids as they know there is no accountability so are feral.

Back when I was a young scamp I lived in a village in Lincolnshire the school provided a coach for all the rural outlaying students.

There was 3 regular bus drivers two where sound one was a nutcase and would scream and shout at any noise or bad behaviour he would regularly throw people off the bus on occasions in the middle of nowhere.

We all knew to be quite and not act up when he was driving.

Were the kids feral and disrespectful to begin with?

Not the best response from him, with better ways to handle it. But knowing exactly how school bus kids do often behave, I get it.

Probably felt worthwhile at the time but he'll have now lost his job. Doubtful it was worth it.

Solid response. Justifiable, if the disruption would present a safety issue.

If they had army bus drivers this would not happen. One soldier driving the bus and one keeping discipline

Gotta be honest as a bus driver i find most kids are ok if you treat them right to start with. Not really had any issues in 7 years

Telling a bus full of kids you're going to punch them and fuck them up, the driver is the safety issue.

The kids weren't the ones saying that to him.

Misbehaving yes, violent behaviour no

Not seen it but I did hear all about it via my dab radio this afternoon.

I was listening to radio x as usual this morning but decided to switch over to smooth for a while at 11 o’clock brew. Then I got bored of that and switched to bbc radio 2.

That’s when I heard all about the bus driver.

Anyway, my opinion on the matter is that the bus driver made a right prick of himself.
