Wegovy acts on areas of the brain which are involved in regulating your appetite. It increases feelings of fullness, reduces feelings of hunger and reduces the preference for high-fat foods.

And yes ppl lose weight , but however if u dont change your mindset regarding food etc, then close the weight, but your habits will remain, and back it will go on its like anything your mindset as to change , otherwise your just sticking a plaster over it xx plus it's not just a case of injecting and it works like that , u have to get active and put work into it also

To add to this they drink like fish and eat mostly crap too . And seems so unfair as we worked hard to lose a load and the put alot back on after eating and drinking during the summer months.

Wondering what happens long term

Diet and exercise is a lot cheaper, a lot safer and will last a lot longer.

Most of these injections are to help with the control of diabetes type 2 in reducing blood sugars and HBA1C levels

Because of them being brought privately the NHS has struggled to get and maintain stock to prescribe to those who need it

Hell

I was considering buying them until I saw one of the side effects they are looking into now is blindness.

I’d rather be fat and be able to see

My ex did it x it did work massively but it masks the issue x so if you stop injecting and don’t have a diet plan alongside it in her experience it piled back on x

Newcastle upon Tyne

I watched a video by a fitness influencer famous for rubbishing all claims of magical weightloss drugs and he gave it a go and lost about 5kg in 2 weeks when he barely had any fat to lose. Surely that can’t be healthy and I’d imagine there’d be a lot of muscle loss too.

I know it’s harder and more long term but a 200-300 cal deficit daily with tracked macros is going to be better for you for longevity

Wegovy, and Ozmepic are GLP-1’s

Glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) is a hormone released by the gut after eating that helps control blood sugar levels by stimulating insulin secretion from the pancreas.

GLP-1 agonists mimic the action of the hormone glucagon-like peptide 1, which helps the body produce more insulin when blood sugar levels rise after eating. This extra insulin helps lower blood sugar levels. GLP-1 agonists can also help with weight loss by reducing appetite and slowing down digestion.

Intermittent fasting and thank me later.

Look into side effects of the so called “injection” and make up your own mind.

You know what else does this? Resistance/strength training and it’s a hell of a lot cheaper and safer.
