I love it but pergaps I am over doing it. Just had 3 peaches, dozen of cherries a big slice of watermelon, few grapes and a nectarine. So much lovely fruit that I can't resist though getting good tasting fruit these days is not that easy . What's your favourite fruit this time of year

Nectarines for me. Cherries when they are full of flavour - so many aren't. Melon - all types! Grapes. Blueberries. Kiwi fruit. I think that covers it!

Watermelon, black grapes and fresh pineapple are my favourites. Went off raspberries when I bought some from a supermarket and tiny spiders crawled out from inside them.

Yep - I'm with Boo - you'll have a proper loose tummy with all that fruit!!

I love fruit (and veg).

I'll eat most of it. Not too keen on watermelon, but will eat it if I'm given it, or if that's all that's available (hello Thailand!)

Always nice to have the fruit which is in season, and if it actually tastes like fruit used to, not just all watery and horrid, then so much the better.

Im a bit odd though, as I love crunchy fruit.

A crunchy nectarine, pear, apple, plum...

But also all the soft fruits/berries-delicious!!

That’s a lot of fruit

But I will take fruit over veg any day. Berries, peaches, pineapple, banana (but not too green but not too over ripe either, there’s a sweet spot that lasts about a day), apples, yeah, other than avocado I think fruit is all good please. And that’s even before you consider putting it on a pavlova, which might just be one of the best summer puddings ever

Scottish strawberries. Cherries. Poached rhubarb with cara_elised brown sugar and Greek yoghurt. It's very much a seasonal thing for me (minus pineapple). My favourite time of year for fruit is September.

My diabetes nurse told me I need to cut it out ideally, or cut it down if I can't go the whole way

I am cynical of this as a previous nurse told me to eat as much fruit as I liked

I'm sure there's a mid way somewhere, so I have cut back drastically

I don't like most veggies so most of my 5 a day was fruit

Anyway, life stories over, I now have an orange on weekdays and some fresh berries if I can find decent ones

Finding a ripe, plump, sweet blackberry is a manna from heaven

Great source of potassium, and as long as you don't knock it about too much, travels well?

A fat, juicy peach.

None of those supermarket, tasteless, hard ones.

Dark cherries.

A crisp, sour apple.

Poached pears.

Pineapple from the tin with cold custard.

A zesty orange in summer.

You can keep the berries (ironically, I can eat as many of them as I want without getting an upset stomach)
