Skirts Banned

Chelmsford

A school in Wisbeach, which is the Capital of the Fens, with few hills and one of the easiest places to ride a bike has banned skirts. Reports that girls were flouting the rules that skirts should be below the knee and of a certain style and some were wearing them like belts'. It's now trousers only and skirts are banned. Have rebels mucked it up for others and will trousers solve the problem? Is this a sledgehammer to crack a nut? Will rebels now wear their trousers at half mast? What's going on here. It's all over the news

Don't see a problem in it tbh.

What's wrong in girls being told to wear trousers to school especially if they are the length of a belt?

Theres only 1 sort of people who don't benifit from it but we're not going there.

Yes, we did PE in gym knickers and polo shirt. In front of the boys. It wasn't fun but I did all the sports and just ignored all the stupid comments. It did put a lot of girls off sports, though.

Most countries in the world manage just fine without them. Hardly any other European state schools have uniforms (sometimes private schools do).

Really really.

Nordic countries, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Italy - no school uniforms (save for some private schools, often international ones).

And the point being?

England is no longer in Europe so why raise irrelevance
