If you re naughty ( break forum / site rules) you re given a spell on the naughty step ( your account is suspended,,) they ll know if you do the mods are watching,,

A timeout is a unilateral decision to give a 'cool off' where a moderator or other feels you broke the rules.

There's no discussion or push back which is diametrically opposed to our liberal ethos here so draw your own conclusions.

Not strictly true you can appeal against a ban.

I received a timeout on my other profile not long after I started posting and had no idea why! So I messaged and I did get a reply! And could then see I had broken forum rules, they were very helpful.

We've had one that was probably deserved and one that most definitely wasn't in our opinion.

I think we must have p*ssed off a mod with a generalisation about a particular group of people. We were not offensive with it, so feel the ban was unfair. We appealed but they never got back to us.

For anyone who wants to query their forum ban you can do this from the CONTACT button at the bottom of the page.

If Admin think you have been given a ban unfailry they will lift the ban for you and let you know.

If they think the ban was right you won't hear from them.

Constantly moaning on a forum about a ban isn't the way to do it and will end up in another ban...as per the rules.

To the insults along the way on this thread....againm if you think mods are not being impartial then send your feedback through the CONTACT button.

A word of advice....totting up a few bans always ends up in a permanent ban.
