Newton Abbot

If you go with the right attitude, your happy head on and be mindful of your safety, anywhere you go can be the best time of your life.

I did my first solo holiday to Crete just last month and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Wherever you decide, wishing you a happy holiday!

X

Hope you enjoy! X

I appreciate what you have said and I will take it into consideration and my safety will always be most important as always. I guess there isn't really a right or wrong answer to what I have asked.. it is what you make it I guess. Thanks for your input though I appreciate it x

I guess it is what I make it. Destination isn't always key but thankyou for your input. Suggestions are always helpful though i guess that was my main aim here. So thankyou x

Wherever I lay my hat

Wherever takes your fancy. I'm on my own in Albania atm. I've been all over the world on my own and if you go wherever interests you and you don't worry about being a Billy No Mates then you will have a blast. There are many benefits of solo travelling - embrace it!

Heard Albania is beautiful but wasn't sure if it was safe for a solo female. I go to Majorca each year myself. Always book a hotel in a busy resort like Palma Nova or Alcudia but travel around by bus or taxi to different places once there.

South East Asia is very easy to travel around on your own, loads to do plus you'll meet loads of people.

If closer to home, last year I went to North Macedonia on my own. Had a great time.

I did a similar thing a couple of years ago and ended up flying Podgorica. I'd never heard of it (Montenegro) but had a great time.

I feel totally safe. I'm from sarf London so my view is that so long as you keep your wits about you and don't take silly risks you are as safe as you are in UK cities. I've travelled solo all over the world since my early 20s and only ever felt unsafe on one occasion.

St Helens

I've done a couple of cruises abroad and they are great for a solo traveller. They have solo meetups and you can be alone when you want to be or get involved in activities as much as you like. Plus it's great to go to a bar and have a few drinks knowing your cabin is a short walk away. No taxis involved!

I've met some amazing friends from solo cruises.
