Do you wear hats? What kind of hats do you like? Do you like it when other people wear hats?

It used to be almost compulsory for men to wear hats, now hardly any do. It seems more of a female thing now. I've recently bought a hat and am trying to find the courage to wear it in public. Any encouragement welcome!

I have a skull cap and flat cap. When I wear the flat cap, people ask where my whippet is

Mr. has a variety of hats, including a top hat, and he nearly always wears one of them. They can be a good conversation starter.

I do wear hats, mostly due to the sensory stuff that comes from the 'tism and needing to shade my eyes from bright light, but I also quite like them.

I have a straw fedora and straw trilby for the current weather.

.

I like women in soft knitted pom pom style hats. It's endearing.

I wear knitted ones or a big floppy straw one when I won't look like a twonk. :D

If you want to wear one OP just go for it. I don't think people particularly notice/judge.

I love a hat to myself !

Couple of custom pork pies

Leather Stetson

Rather dubious Fedora

Numerous soft baldness insulators for practical times and a denim bucket hat for general flopping about / festival shading .

Get it on in public OP

Hats definitely have practical aspects - although at the moment it'll shade me from rain rather than sun!

I can't believe you would ever look a twonk Meli so I hope you wear your big floppy straw hat whenever you feel like it.

Lol. I have a few fedora style hats in straw and wool. Several big floppy hats (I think there are some pictures our gallery) a couple of baker boy style, some traditional flat caps which look good (in my opinion) contrasted with feminine features and red lipstick, a beret and one ill advised bobble hat.

Second star to the right…

Is a helmet classified as a hat?

Sometimes throw a cap on when need be.

There was something stylish about men wearing hats back in the day

Thanks.

They're really difficult to wear if you live somewhere with narrow streets

I only wear big floppy hats and only on holidays. Otherwise, I feel I don’t suit a hat. Also can’t cope with that tightness feeling around my head when wearing a hat. It’s not that it’s a tightly fitting, ill sized hat. It’s that hard aren’t worn loosely or they fall off.
