Transport is definitely better in London. We don't have to argue about it, it just is "No, it's not. London had broken (powered) bus ramps and made me bum shuffle onto a train, whilst shouting for other passengers to get my wheelchair onboard. It's not better. | |||

I say I'm going to London for a night out, and I live in London. My area is a whole different world to central London. It's pretty quiet, not much in the way of pubs or bars. Barely any restaurants but we do have a cinema, bowling alley and Bingo establishment

The Boris buses are way too hot in summer, throw you around and sound like they're falling apart; which is why they have a new design. They are cheap though. £1.75 for as many buses as you want in one hour, or £5.25 for the whole day. | |||

"To be fair, Manchester as a city is not the best. However, it's like any other place. It has good areas, it has bad. And yeah, two weeks isn't a long enough time to find all the good points. I moved down near Peterborough years ago. It was ok, but for me it was too far from the sea. I grew up on the coast, and I will now ALWAYS live no more than an hour away from a beach.
