What happened to DCI Gill Murray in Scott and Bailey last night according to my family she got a belt trapped around her neck whilst she was driving, but nothing in the show was mentioned about it?

Is this something leading through the series to the end?

That was extremely odd .. have NO idea what that was about or why it happened

Yes that's what happened

I assume all will become apparent as the series goes on

I love that series, mainly cos Suranne Jones is in it for major perve value !
