"David Beckham since retiring from football "

To be fair he was already starting to get up there whilst he was still playing.

The way he conducted himself when Capello publicly dropped him from the England squad should be taught in media training classes.

Never whined or complained, just said "fair enough. I'll continue to be available for selection if the manager considers my form to merit selection".

Ego-maniacs like Jude Bellingham could do a lot worse than follow the example of Becks.

Oh yes, at least two glorious moments, namely (1) 1995 and the kung fu kick at Selhurst Park and (2) his philosophical comment following the sentence of community service after that kcik, namely “When the seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea,”

I've not yet heard his singing, and to be honest I don't want to spoil the legend so I'll probably swerve it

Cantona for me must remain the mysterious footballing genius from my youth, that occasionally reappears in Nike adverts

Hmm

An old friend lets just call him J. A Kenyan lad, nothing phased him.

When some racist guy started on him outside a club he picked him up and tombstoned him pausing to say. Time to say _ello to Mr concrete.

At a party afterwards people were giving him shit for wearing shades. A girl said to him 'What are you wearing shades inside for?'

He said...

I am attempting to look cool... And succeeding.

No one did cool quite like J. He could have played Bond, it wouldn't have even been acting. Probably do his own stunts too.

Liverpool

Bill Murray or Leslie Neilsen.

Or Peter Falk as Columbo. The man just walks into people's palatial LA mansions with a lit cigar!

"Steve McQueen

B"

If we are talking Steve McQueen as in Papillon, Bullet and the Great Escape, yes, this is the correct answer.

I used to think it's Hunter S Thompson. Now I think it's Monica Bellucci but that's just because I have a massive crush on her.

I change my earlier answer to this 👆

If Jeff Goldblum would just pop round with a M&S raspberry trifle my life will be complete.

"David Attenborough "

Came here to shout out to the Big D.

I’m just watching ‘David Attenborough’s Journey’ on sky, and saw the one on BBC a while ago. He really is the most wonderful human bean and thoroughly deserving of the almost unparalleled respect, admiration, delight and deep fondness this nation and so many others hold for him.

He always says it’s not his work you see and maintains an impressive humility, despite having more letters after his name than pretty much anyone in the world and a house full of awards.

His broadcasting style has opened up natural history to millions, possibly even billions during the 72 years he had been on screen. And he somehow manages to get across the message about the fragility of our planet without preaching.

At 98 he is still working and as passionate as ever. His is the only kind of celebrity I like. He has never been typically cool but for that, and everything above, to me he is the coolest man on the planet. I will be very sad when he goes.
