Does anyone else think this was the hottest June EVER in the UK?

I'm surprised it hasn't been picked up on by the mainstream.

Don't know on average, but last year's June heatwave was on another level.

I really don't even know how we all battled through it. That British stiff upper lip no doubt. Gosh we're a hardy bunch.

I wish this global warming would return. This whole year has been freezing.

Are you saying it might have been the 'wettest' June also?

Incredible!

Global warming is called: 'climate change' now... Because it gets warmer now sometimes, but sometimes gets colder too. (It just depends). So maybe it will get even warmer?

I think the seasons have been knocked off from what they should be. And that’s certainly climate change.

A few decent days where I am in May and June but recently winds making it pretty chilly at times for time of year and have to admit I’m waiting on summer as it feels more like late spring.

Been no summer here. Been raining since forever. Had the heating on every morning and the stove going in the kitchen.

Remember we have to conserve energy, can't you just wear a thicker fleece?

Apart from a few warm days June was quite average I think. Don't recall much rain though.

It was the 1st month that we had less than the average rainfall this year.

Call it what you like. I’m still unimpressed with the poor summer this year. Especially as we were threatened with humans boiling……

They said that last year and the year before too, and the year before that... In fact they say that every year... so it must be true.

I better stock up on ice and fans, but knowing the UK they will have already sold out.

It was a sizzler indeed, but this past June has seen temperatures rocketing as high as 16C here. And... (Scarey thought)... It's now July so it might even climb another degree...

I just called the fan shop and all the fans are sold out by Brits panic buying for the oncoming Indian Summer. All the ice is gone too. Plenty toilet roll though.
