If the minimum he has to do is 15 years then it is likely he will do this as parole would be unlikely in the light of this case.

I think what he got is a slap on the wrist, for such an offence with high magnitude and the fact that they showed no remorse, I will say death sentence will be appropriate for them (sounds harsh but some of you will agree).

Recommendation was at least 15 years but it was a life sentence. It will make no differenec to his life! 3 meals a day and a telly in his room!

Personally I would of only given him a year, but to get that he would have to of served it on the general prison population and not in the nonces section!! Let him feel some suffering and pain the cunt

A telly in his room? I highly doubt it.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I think the judge could have set higher tariffs on this case. The dynamics of the control and power this man had on those around him no doubt led to their shorter sentences.

The judge gave him the highest he could.

He was charged with manslaughter not murder.

As an aside: how many of these threads on the same thing do we need?!!

I do love some peoples idea of prison, there's something on telly about someone having a tv and playstation in prison and all of a sudden people think they are all living in a hotel room lol

Or reading the Daily Mail as if it were gospel. I doubt the prison near me is like that. Strangeways Manchester is notorious for being appalling. An old Victorian prison which is overcrowded (dangerous, especially to the prison officers who have to work there) and in a poor state. Many prisoners crammed 3 into a cell meant for one even in the Victorian era when punishments were much more firm.
