This year ive given 12 christmas cards and there to people very close to me. At my mums work they dont send cards to each other and have a charity box so i gave her £10 for that. All the people that send you cards each year but you never here from every other time. So instead of sending a card this year ive decided to sit down in the new year and write them all a proper letter

I plan on doing those sorts of letters every year and then I never get round to it...

I used to love getting letters from friends

good for you...never open the cards I receive until Christmas Eve...that way I do not feel obligated to send them to anyone.

Letter writing becoming a lost art....will be a great way to start the New Year and am sure your pals will be over the moon to get a letter from you..... mwah xx

Super idea Diamond....two of my fave cards I get each year are from people I haven't seen for years (one for almost 25 years and the other 32 years) we always exchange christmas cards, along with a long newsy letter to each other. I really look forward to ouyr annual updates, lol.

i dont do cards i put a wee fiver into kittys memorial fund. mostly emails i get from people far away but still nice to read them x
